On this project, the homeowner called us for a basement flood in Maryland. There wasn’t a ton of water, but the carpet needed drying. We also needed to clean and stop any mold growth. There was a lot of moisture, so we carefully examined and assessed all surfaces inch by inch. 

Next up, it was clear some restoration was in order. Soaked drywall was one immediate concern. Once we dug a little deeper with the homeowner, we found some troubling details about the home’s history. Turns out, other contractors had just installed another sump pump. And they did this knowing the flooding had occurred multiple times. 

Obviously, we knew a fresh approach was needed. Rather than just treat the symptoms, we knew we had to remove the cause. We developed a detailed, completely custom strategy to divert water from the house. Because we took the time to listen and strategize, the homeowner couldn’t have been more pleased.
